Business Certificate/DBA's

Starting in 2018, the Town of Wenham instituted a business certificate process to avoid any dba be processed when there could be a reason to not. Application needs to be completed and paid for ($20) and returned to Town Clerk. The Town Clerk will email the application to all necessary parties for online approval; Building Inspector, Animal Control Officer, Fire Department, Board of Health, Police Department, Historic District Commission, Town Collector , Board of Selectmen’s Office. Once all is good, the owner is contacted by the Town Clerk and will need to proof and sign the certificate in the presence of the Town Clerk or a notary who will also need to sign and stamp certificate.
