Dog Registration
All dogs six months and older shall be inoculated against rabies and licensed with the Town, as required by Massachusetts General Law Chapter 140, §137.
Wenham Bylaw Chapter XXIII, B sections 2 & 3 explain that the annual license for dogs is valid from January through December.The costs to register a dog is:
- $15.00 - neutered or spayed
- $20.00 - intact
Personal kennels:
- Four dogs - $50
- Five to 10 dogs - $100
- More than 10 dogs - $150
Dog registration information is mailed to all households with the annual census at the end of December/early January.
Dog registration can be completed online or via the Town Clerk’s office with this application.
