The function of the Treasurer/Tax Collector is to receive and take charge for all money belonging to the Town and to pay over and account for the same according to the order of the Town or of its authorized officers. The Treasurer/Collector is the only person who may pay the bills of the Town's Departments. The Treasurer/Collector also is responsible for the collection of taxes, accounts receivable and water bills. In addition, the Treasurer/Collector must make an annual accounting for all receipts and disbursements and report on their official acts.

ON-LINE BILL PAY
Wenham has changed our online bill pay vendor to City Hall Systems. If you wish to pay your Motor Vehicle Excise, Personal Property, Real Estate, or Water bill online, please click the red link below for online bill payment. You may also sign up for an account with the online bill pay system which will allow you to schedule payments and to receive your bills electronically. If you have any problem registering and/or finding your bills , call City Hall Systems at 508-381-5455. If you have questions regarding your actual bill, you may call the Collector's office. Questions associated with valuation or assessments should be directed to the Assessor's office. We hope that offering an enhanced online bill pay system will make it more convenient to monitor and pay your bills.
