According to Mass. General Laws ch 30A section 18-25 Open Meeting Law, all public meetings must be posted 48 business hours in advance. In Wenham, the Town Clerk posts these meetings on the Town calendar and requests that local committees, boards & commissions use this template.
Annual Town Census
Annually, each municipality in Massachusetts must send out a census, otherwise known as street listing. In Wenham, we send out the census with the dog registration form in late December as both are due in the month of January. Here is the form we are using for 2020.
Starting in 2018, the Town of Wenham instituted a business certificate process to avoid any dba be processed when there could be a reason to not. Application needs to be completed and paid for ($20) and returned to Town Clerk. The Town Clerk will email the application to all necessary parties for online approval; Building Inspector, Animal Control Officer, Fire Department, Board of Health, Police Department, Historic District Commission, Town Collector , Board of Selectmen’s Office. Once all is good, the owner is contacted by the Town Clerk and will need to proof and sign the certificate in the presence of the Town Clerk or a notary who will also need to sign and stamp certificate.DPW Receipts for Recycling and Disposal
Recyclable items not accepted curbside can be disposed of at the DPW at 91 Grapevine Rd, but they must first be paid for at the Town Clerk's office. Please see here for the items accepted and their costs. The Town Clerk only accepts cash or check.

Wenham Town Clerk, Dianne K. Bucco is a notary public. Documents can be notarized by Dianne at Town Hall or elsewhere once plans have been arranged. There is no charge for Wenham residents for this service although donations to Acord Food Pantry which serves Wenham are welcome.
Massachusetts State Law 51 sec 6 requires that each municipality publish an annual street list. It can be purchased at the Town Clerks office for a fee of $10 for residents and $20 for non-residents. The Town Clerk's office accepts only cash and checks.
Residents 18 and older can register to vote online, https://www.sec.state.ma.us/ovr/ or at the Town Clerk's office. Residents can also change and look up their voter registration at https://www.sec.state.ma.us/ovr/.
