Town of Wenham, Massachusetts

The Highway Department is responsible for the maintenance, repair, reconstruction and replacement of the Town's infrastructure. This department works to develop and implement facilities and maintenance programs for streets, sidewalks, rights of way, traffic signs and signals, street sweeping and drainage systems.   Please call the Wenham DPW at 978-468-5520 Ext. 6 for assistance.

Simple Recycling Changes in Pickup Process  – Residents now need to schedule pickups either online at (www.simplerecycling.com ) or by calling 866-835-5068.  Residents should no longer be putting the pink bags out on their recycling day.

Residents are asked to leave at least 3 feet between the trash collection bin and all other bins to accommodate the arm on Casella's new truck.

Compost Information
Residents may purchase compost at Brick Ends Farm for $8.00/bag. 

Hard Plastics Recycling
Residents can bring their bulky, rigid plastics for recycling.  For more information click here.

Library of Things  (Located at the Hamilton-Wenham Library)
The library has a growing collection of non-traditional items  that you can borrow as you would a book, CD, or DVD.  These items range from board games to cookie cutters to an actual butter churn.  More Information
