Americans With Disability Act (ADA)


Mission Statement

  • To ensure that all practices, policies, services, programs, activities and benefits offered to the public do not discriminate against  persons with disabilities and to ensure that an individual with a disability has equal opportunity to participate in and enjoy the benefits of a service, program or activity. 
  • To provide a mechanism for the resolution of  complaints and grievances on the basis of disability in employment practices and policies or in the provision of services, activities, programs or benefits by the Town of Wenham. 
  • To conduct a “self-evaluation” and to develop a “transition plan” to ensure compliance with Title II of the Americans With Disabilities Act.
